Being Too Busy is Stupid
January 28, 2018

I didn't think I would be so occupied with things I'm passionate about this year. They say that junior year is the most busy, but school hasn't been bad at all. It's juggling everything else that's difficult.

Here are the projects I'm currently working on:

1. Starting a YouTube channel

2. Reviving and planning lots of things as the president of Debate Club

3. Writing this book

4. Watching the Overwatch League (yes, I'm passionate about this, don't yell at me)

5. Attending all the other clubs

6. PLANNING A WEDDING

7. Studying independently for a Chemistry SAT Subject Test because I haven't had chemistry in a year

8. Upholding my rank and reputation

9. Reading, because I recently got over my reading slump

10. I mean, eating, drinking water, sleeping? That's something I need to work on, too.

Life has a lot of components to it. But I need to remember the word that I chose for myself this year: create.

I need to prioritize this book above everything else. I've procrastinated on it long enough, I need to let it go. This book needs to tell its story. I've been holding it back for too long, and it's become a habit. They say it takes 21 days to create a habit. So starting on February 1st, I challenge myself to write for an hour every day, for 21 days. I'm also going to try my best to reach a goal of 1,000 words every day, but we'll see how far I can get with that. Hopefully, though, I will be able to create an amazing habit and I can uphold it so I can finally complete this book.

Wish me luck!
